The Paxton includes roto-molded HDPE support cradles that can be placed on level gravel, pavers, or concrete. A concrete pad is not required but provides the most stable foundation.
Allow at least 3 feet of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation and maintenance access. The covered porch extends the front footprint by approximately 2 feet.
Yes, the all-weather construction and powerful 9kW heater are designed for year-round use. The sauna actually provides better insulation in cold weather, reaching temperature efficiently even in freezing conditions.
Cedar naturally resists decay and insects. Annual application of cedar oil helps maintain the wood's appearance, but the sauna will function perfectly with minimal maintenance for decades.
Most people enjoy 15-30 minute sessions. The traditional Finnish method involves multiple shorter sessions with cooling breaks on the covered porch between rounds.

Customer Reviews
Six months in and it's been fantastic through both summer heat and winter snow. The app is intuitive and the sauna maintains temperature beautifully. Cedar construction is holding up wonderfully to weather exposure.
Very well made sauna with excellent materials. The electric heater heats evenly and the cedar smells incredible. Assembly instructions were clear and everything fit perfectly. The Wi-Fi feature works reliably and makes it so convenient to use regularly.
The barrel design looks absolutely beautiful in our garden. Neighbors constantly compliment it. The cedar ages nicely and the construction feels solid. Wi-Fi control is a game-changer for spontaneous sauna sessions.
Living in Minnesota, I needed something built for serious weather. This sauna handles snow, ice, and subzero temps without any issues. The insulation is excellent and the heating system works flawlessly. The app control means I never have to go outside to start it up. Worth every penny for the convenience and quality.
Use it almost daily! The electric heater is so much more convenient than wood-fired options. Love starting it remotely while I finish dinner. Cedar construction is gorgeous and built to last.
